The visit focused on DSBDC’s efforts to bolster small business growth and resilience, especially as families and entrepreneurs navigate rising costs. Small businesses make up 98% of all businesses in the state, and employ nearly 230,000 Delawareans.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, U.S. Representatives Sarah McBride (D-DE) and Mike Lawler (R-NY) introduced the Supporting Avian Virus Eradication (SAVE) Our Poultry Act, bipartisan legislation that will designate highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) as a high-priority research and extension area within the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
